The Soldier is a member of an army. He wears a uniform covered with green and brown marks. He does so, to disguise himself as part of his surroundings. When in the battle field, he camouflages himself with leaves and branches of trees. He wears a helmet to protect his head from injuries. His touch boots cover his legs below the knees. He has a rifle in his hand. He is strong, brave and active. His duty is to protect our motherland from enemies.


He has trained not only to fight and fire, but also to obey the orders of his superiors. He shows perfect discipline in all his performances. When ordered, he has also to go to the war-front. Therefore he leads a very hard and risky life. His life is devoted to us and our country.

When war breaks out in a country, the duty of the soldiers becomes very important and essential. Unlike others, they undergo so much inconveniences in the execution of their duties. Very often, they get fatally wounded while fighting. Sometimes, they even lose their lives.

We must respect and love these patriotic heroes our soldiers. We must be grateful to them for their sacrifices.

Even the most modern arms and ammunition would be useless if there were no soldiers. That is because, there must be soldiers to operate them. Therefore the soldiers is the most important person in an army.
